Deer Park’s Meeting Room will host Toddler Play & Learn Storytime on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM for children ages 18-36 months. The program begins with 20 minutes of picture books, music and fingerplay, then moves into a 30-minute activity block covering early math, science and literacy ideas.

Parents and caregivers can participate alongside their toddlers as the session also supports literacy, STEAM and social abilities connected to kindergarten readiness. Families can continue exploring those skills at home, and the event is also an opportunity to get a child a library card. Seating is limited; groups of 10 or more should contact the library before arriving. Additional listed dates are November 24 and December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2026. Spokane County Library District says its in-person programs welcome people of all abilities. Accommodation requests, including hearing assistance or ASL, can be sent to comments@scld.org or 509.893.8200 at least five business days in advance.
