Explore STCU’s Media Studio in Spokane Valley

Drop in Thursday evening to try the space and learn about its creative tools.

The STCU Studio gives visitors a chance to become familiar with its equipment and possible uses. The space supports podcast recording, video production, and other creative media work with professional technology. During drop-in hours, staff can offer introductory guidance on audiovisual gear and software used for recording and editing.

Visitors can also learn to use Project Memory equipment for digitization. People who need focused help with a particular project can reserve a separate session at The STCU Studio for individual assistance. Additional studio information is available at scld.org/stcu-studio.

Upcoming sessions are scheduled for November 5, November 12, and November 19, 2026. December sessions are planned for December 3, December 10, December 17, and December 31, 2026. Spokane County Library District welcomes attendees with a range of abilities. For accommodations at an in-person library event, requests must be submitted at least five business days beforehand. Requests may be sent to comments@scld.org or made by calling 509.893.8200. Available requests include hearing assistance and ASL. Zoom programs provide live transcription, while recordings of Zoom events have captions generated automatically.
